Is gmail better than hotmail?
Yes. Gmail provides way more features than hotmail: Gmail has 2 GB of mail storage, where hotmail only has 250 MB. Gmail also gives you free pop access, so you can use an email program like outlook to check your messages. If you want pop access with hotmail, you need to pay for it.

You get tons of space and free POP access (for e-mail programs like Outlook or Thunderbird). Organization with it is a breeze, also. And it's not slow like the new Yahoo! webmail service, and the spam filters are fully functional, unlike Hotmail's broken filters.

Reply:BY A MILE. I have always found hotmail to be irritating at best but Gmail makes life very easy plus the space they give you is huge.





All conversations back and forth are grouped for easy reference and once loaded Gmail switches between folders very quickly.
