Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, Google, GMAIL?

I'm really stuck. I love all these e;mailing services, Yahoo, Gmail, and Hotmail. But it gets really confusing for me, and people who I try to give me e;mail address to. I'm trying to decide between these three. Which ones do you guys reccomend, and why? I really need to pick soon, cause my site launched and you won't beleive the overload of e;mail wantings! Please write back,

Yahoo, MSN, Hotmail, Google, GMAIL?
I'll tell you what I do. I have all three of these services as well and each one has its ups and downs.

I use a sort of three-tiered system. My Yahoo! e-mail is used for, well, everything. If I want to sign up for something or if I want to get some newsletters from somewhere, I just send them right on down to Yahoo!. It's sort of like a giant spam folder for me...

Then I have Hotmail. I use this for friends and family. If I need to give my e-mail address for friends or family, I just give this one out to them and that's that!

G-Mail I use for strictly business. If I have some sort of meeting or some important school event, I give this to that person. Strictly business.

Now you can switch around the uses for each one as you choose based on what you like most!

P.S. I also just use Windows Live Mail as my e-mail client. It gathers all three of my e-mail accounts into a central location on my desktop so they're all easy to check inside a single program.
Reply:i like hotmail better because gmail is boring and yahoo sends email really slow and recieve emails really slowly! Report Abuse

Reply:I also prefer Hotmail. the Quick Add pane on the web version is super handy when composing e-mails. Report Abuse

Reply:Yep, the new Hotmail has been really much improved since the old days of MSN. Spam practically never reaches my inbox. Report Abuse

Reply:I agree with Toby.

%26gt; If you have junk mail is your MSN/Hotmail accounts and have configured GMail to collect mail from the MSN/Hotmail account, ALL the spam/junk will be left behind (as long as they are NOT in your inbox).

%26gt; ALL collected mail from MSN/Hotmail inbox will be stored in the Inbox of GMail - There you can label and automatically filter any incoming mail to a specific folder.

%26gt; From experience, now my Gmail account is Spam-free :D

Edit: You can set GMail to set a chosen email, when you send an email to be shown as either your MSN/Hotmail or Yahoo account.

%26gt; Yahoo Mail I leave from Y!A
Reply:GMail for this reason: Unlike all the other e-mail services, GMail allows you to do the following for free:

1. Forward all e-mail sent to your GMail account to another e-mail address.

2. Check your e-mail with a regular e-mail client like Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc.
Reply:Yahoo...obviously, I had hot mail and seemed to get more junk mail than I could stomach. Yahoo is friendlier and the filters do a good job.
