What's better...hotmail or gmail????

I'm making a new email , but I don't know ehat service to use...............i'm not a business man, i'm just a teenager so recommend me what works best, what's more popular, etc, the best of the bests.......thx

Reply:gmail. it's much less complicated and is faster to access. gmail you can set your login info to never expire, that way anytime you type in gmail.com, it will bring you directly to your inbox. very simple. hotmail you have so much security that you have to pass and different pages to navigate through. gmail is very straightforward. hotmails not complicated, just a pain in the ***.

I have multiple Gmail accounts, and I get tons of spam on every one of them.
Reply:i'm a teen too and i've HAD a few hotmail accounts but i've always preferred gmail. it's good for sending/receiving files since their space is practically unlimited. yahoo's always good but you already have that.
Reply:Hotmail you can use on MSN Messneger. Gmail doesn't have an IM.
Reply:Gmail is better. I very rarely, if ever, get spam or junk with gmail, but with hotmail-- it's an everyday occurrence. I no longer use the hotmail account, actually, because I got so tired of the porno junk emails.

Reply:I like gmail the best. Better spam filter and cleaner interface. But the best reason is the use of "labels" to organize mail instead of folders. That way, you can attach several labels to a mail message so you can locate them more easily later on. With folders, you can put each message into one folder only, and can't have one message go into several folders at the same time.

If you've actually used both for any period of time, you'd realize that Gmail has so much more functionality that any other mail program....period.





I've set up "hundreds" of them for people all over the world, and I don't get a red cent from Google!





I have dozens of people I talk with for FREE right through my gmail account, as well, the sound quality is better than Skype or any VoIP service I've used, it's free, and it's built right in.





In one gmail account I have, I can "Send" email from over 20 different email addresses! So to the receiver, they never know it's a Gmail account, it comes out as one of my own URL addresses, and it's all stored inside this one gmail account.





Don't get me started on Google Documents now, another built-in feature....lol
