Hotmail or Gmail?

I am making a new email account with my real name in it, so I currently have hotmail, but I was thinkign maybe I should get gmail or I can use hotmail or even live.com.au





Which email service do you think I should get and why?

Depends on what you want. Gmail, which I have, offers an incredible amount of storage space, but not the most aesthetic interface. Hotmail however, looks pretty good, but it has a lot of ads and such. Gmail has no ads, and is a much faster email client.





One more thing. If you're concerned about the privacy of the emails you send. Google keeps every email the users send or receive, even after you delete them. You might have a privacy issue here.





Also, a positive about Gmail. Gmail has the best spam filter of any client. I never have spam delivered to my inbox, but my junk inbox has thousands of messages in it weekly. So think about those couple of points.

Reply:MSN hotmail gives you a 5GB storage. Plus a complete webpage for your own and even blog.

Reply:I prefer GMail. It has ever-increasing storage, better security, more protection against spam, and - well, only an opinion - a cleaner layout than HotMail.
