i think aol sucks because it erases your emails. you have to mark them as new but in time it will still erase them. thats crap! i should have known better but yahoo stinks when it comes to sending and reciving pics and files. sigh.... so what do you think?
Of Yahoo and Aol, which email is better? dont tell me your fav. ie hotmail, or gmail. answer between the two.?
Yahoo out of these two.
Gmail - wait, hear me out - allows you to access mail from Outlook or Mail or whatever, as well as online - for free. Big advantage.
Reply:well if you save your emails to a folder on aol then it won't delete the emails. i think aol is better, i have both, but i use aol for work (like sending out resumes, shopping online, etc.) not to mention the firewall protection, privacy and spam protection. yahoo i get so much junk mail i haven't even signed up for that i'm thinking they may be selling my email address to business.
Reply:If you save your AOL e mails to folders they don't erase. I have e mails from years ago on AOL.
AOL is good for files and pictures.
Yahoo is good for organization of e mails and sending small files and small pictures.
So I guess it's just a matter of preference. I use both equally the same and I've had issues with both. So keep both for a while and just test out different things with them.
Also a suggestion would be to try compressing your files into a zip file if you would like to use Yahoo for your default e mail.
Good luck on deciding.
Reply:I prefer Yahoo email..
Reply:I do NOT like anything about AOL. I do use the AOL instant messenger but only because I can use it through trillian which allows me to avoid downloading anything from AOL. So, bottomline answer, Yahoo is better. Oh yes, I have used AOL's Email before, so I have compared the two.
Reply:yahoo bc i am here bc of it
Reply:Yahoo--because

Reply:Yahoo is free... you'll have it forever. AOL you must pay for so if you go to another ISP you lose your e-mail address.
Makes more sense to go with yahoo.
I've had yahoo for over 12 years. Good spam control, good service too.
Reply:yahoo.
Reply:Yahoo is better. You can keep your email forever. while aol if you ever stop subscribing then everything is lost. I have been with yahoo since the 90's and have seen a lot of improvements. i have always used yahoo as my primary mailbox and only use aol for a few items that i know i would want to see as soon as i sign on.
the picture speed for downloads is faster depending on your connection.
