I want to forward my emails from Hotmail to Gmail?

I have free hotmail, and it is not possible to request my contacts to email me to my new email... so the only way is to forward my emails to Gmail. I have already used izymail and it works really well, but I don't feel as if I should pay for something like this. Can someone tell me a free way forward my emails from free hotmail to Gmail. The reason why I am doing this is that I have an ipod touch with the software upgrade and I want to be able to use the mail function.

Hotmail is for nerds and old people. Once people find out how much hotmail sucks they want to leave. M$ says no, you can't auto forward out from hotmail just to. I say stick to yahoo. Its the best IMO.
Reply:when in the gmail mail site look up at the top right hand side of the screen and see the "settings" next to your email name . hit that.


Now hit the "accounts" tab when the tabs show.You'll be in "general" but go to "accounts"


...now about 3 options down it says get mail from other accounts. go there.,

Reply:Log - in to your hotmail acccount, click on "options" at the top right corner of your screen, then click on "Forward mail to another e-mail account" option under "Manage your account" and write the "e-mail address" where you want to forward your mails... and click save.
