Which is better; Gmail, Yahoo!mail or hotmail and why?

GMAIL cos it has a lot storage space and free POP access.
Which is better; Gmail, Yahoo!mail or hotmail and why?
I like gmail because of the labeling and filing system.


Each piece of mail can be given as many labels as you want them to have and they can be archived in several places. For example if my friend sends me a photo and a recipe in an email, I can label the email "photo" and "recipe" and then archive or file it in both the photos and recipe folders.

i have an acct. at hotmail because i use the msn messenger to chat w/ a friend of mine.

Reply:I haven't got Hotmail which is remiss but I have both Yahoo and Gmail but I mainly use my work e-mail which is Synetrix Webmail hosted by my employer's website. It is easy because at work it is my Outlook account, I have only just joined Gmail and only really use it for Facebook and Yahoo I just use for here and sending myself stuff to and from work when working at home.

Yes and No. You can only redirect hotmail's mail to a private email adress, so no @gmail.com or @yahoo.com. What you can do though is get youself a domain name that only redirect the mail you get to you gmail.





Alternatively you could get a program like Mail Redirect that redirects your mail from an account to another.

I like yahoo. I have been with them for a long time.





But I prefer G-mail for attachments and privacy no junk. And your exclusive. can only get in by invites.

I am thrilled with my yahoo accounts. I have 2, and use them for everything. Yahoo has been very reliable and is very user friendly. The spam filters are great, and I get very little spam in my inbox. I had not great luck with hotmail, as my account kept running into trouble and I had a ton of spam. Gmail, my sister uses and enjoys, but I will stand by Yahoo as it has worked, and continues to work great!

I find that yahoo is the best. Hotmail too often upgrades and it can be confusing at times, yahoo beta i sth same way. gmail confuses me 100% of the time, so I never really use it.
Reply:I've had regular Yahoo email for years, I think it's the best. I tried the Yahoo Beta and didn't like it, to many quirks in it at the time, about 4 months ago.





I also have a Hotmail account. Have had that for years also. I use this for receiving replies that I think may end up with a lot of spam attached.





I also have an email account through the www.care2.com web site. I use this for most of my personal correspondence because their sponsors make contributions to different orginaztions for each email I post. It's a neat site, check it out.

How can i set my hotmail account to automatically forward all the emails to my gmail account?

I would prefferably like all my emails in my hotmail account to be sent to my gmail. But even if they were sent to my yahoo account, it would be better than hotmail.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can - at least not without signing up for their premium service (not free).





You could, however, change your reply-to address to your gmail account - that way anytime someone reponds to an email, that will go to gmail, not hotmail.





You could also just send out a mail to all your friends asking them to change your email address in the address books.
